A CELEBRATION OF A DEBUT NOVEL WITH MUSIC
"You are just like your father"
That's where it all started with the upcoming debut novel "Pete", written by the Jakobstad-based writer and musician Ville Verkkapuro and published by Kosmos. The autobiographical novel deals with the mysterious death of a father, addiction, family, genes, Kurt Cobain and The Simpsons.
Now Verkkapuro will return to his hometown and tell the story of the book and what was left unwritten, companied by original songs and covers that turn the evening into a very unique experience that vibrates beyond the audiobook and broadens the world of the novel.
The novel "Pete" is out on the 15th of September as a hardcover and an audiobook. You will be able to purchase the book at After Eight.
